Inspired by my good friend Sven (longexposure.net), I have decided to start a little photo journal of my travels and experiences. I travelled for years collecting a vast collection of images, of varying quality as my skill and equipment improved 🙂 I got so used to constantly changing environments and subjects that when I returned to Australia I found that my camera went largly unused. I go on the ocassional photo expedition and am hoping this site will encourage me to get out and shoot more often.

The blog uses WordPress, content hosted on Jumba and images on Flickr.
Theme provided by Brian Gardner and the base code for my Flickr integeration comes from Joe Tan.

    Fantastic site!!

I would love to get into high speed photography, however as I am not a huge eletronics guy I was wondering if you would consider selling a built version of your flash trigger, and if so, how much??

Sadly other commitments have time against me at the moment. I would be happy to provide feedback on your own construction. My design is a lot like these guys who actually sell kits commercially and have detailed instructions in their site.

The parts are only around $30 so I would just have a go! Thing about soldering is that it is not hard to do poorly – and poorly is all you need for something like this! 🙂 Just have a few practices with bare wire and vero board. Let me know how it goes.

How can I contact you apart from this website? I would love to ask for some locations! 🙂
