We find ourselves…in Ipswich.

After realising our plan to take pictures of the Ekka fireworks had arrived to late and the fireworks had actually ended we headed out of the city via Mogill Rd/Mt Crosby. We spotted a few potential locations for the future when cloud cover is not so bad. As it turns out the road we were on ended in the bustling metropolis of Ipswich.

Cracked up

Wivenhoe was the destination – which as it turns out is no where near as far away as I thought. A 45 minute drive and we were walking on the acres and acres of cracked earth that was once the dam.
