Kitty Hawk

So a big American aircraft carrier is in town. Let’s go take a peak – turns out half the city had this thought and there were km’s of traffic on the small back road out to the best viewing point.

Wonder Dog

Took a trip up to the Sunshine Coast on the weekend to see the family and take the dog for run on the beach, which she always loves. Very rarely put my camera in AI Servo mode for constant focusing. It’s tricky capturing sharp images on the tele with something moving this fast…

Flick-tastic

I modified the flickr plugin I use to put a little EXIF data into the image posts. With a little exploring I found the flickr API to be quite a useful and usable tool. I updated the last post to include the changes just to see how it looked. Having not used PHP much I find it quite refreshing – has the feel of the good old languages like C/C++.

5 Guys, 5 Cameras and one small car…

Of the five guys, we had the actual Guy, Sven, Neil, Chris and myself. Fingal Head was the destination and things were not to crowded until we picked up Guy at the Gold Coast at which point I enjoyed a short cheek bonding session with Sven in the back of the little Astra.

Southward…
