I really must update more often as this was ages ago. My Tripod Girl works out near the Gateway and one afternoon when picking her up I decided to go for a stroll along the riverside park out there – of course with my camera 
It was sunset at the time and the shooting options were limited to a small park area with private property on both sides. This shot of the sun across the water, as Sven suggested to me, almost looks rendered in Bryce or something.
There were a few mangroves about though I struggled to find a shot without garbage in it. The exposure time was slowing down by this point and the water shows it with a smooth texture.
Just messing around with depth of field on a hydrant that was in the park.
